Purpose of the Role

Ensure the consistency, creation, and production of web, print, and video communication materials for all Y SCHOOLS schools : SCBS, École Supérieure de Design, École Supérieure de Tourisme

External Stakeholders

Service providers (communication agencies and advertising networks)

Institutional partners and administrative bodies (City of Troyes, Troyes Champagne Métropole, Grand Est Region, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creation:

· Contribute to needs analysis and defining the appropriate medium

· Propose mock-ups and sketches, providing justification for graphic choices

· Design and produce informative or promotional web visuals (websites, social media, display ads, etc.) in compliance with various brand guidelines

· Design and produce informative or promotional print visuals (brochures, guides, annual reports, press inserts, etc.) in compliance with various brand guidelines

· Design illustrations and infographics

Video Production:

· Write scripts and storyboards

· Shoot, edit, and color-grade video content, particularly for social media

Production & Coordination:

· Coordinate and monitor the production of materials

· Execute layouts in compliance with various brand guidelines

· Index photos and retouch images

· Monitor and control the steps of the internal or external graphic production chain

Support & Administration:

· Conduct technological and trend monitoring

· Manager the image library and archives

· Provide technical support to departments, upon request, for the graphic design of their documents

· Report on activities

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

· 3 to 5-year higher education degree (Bac +3/Bac +5) in Communication (graphic design, drawing, visual communication)

· Significant experience of 3 years in a similar role

· Knowledge of the higher education and continuing education environment would be a plus

· Perfect mastery of graphic design techniques (typography, colorimetry, layout, artistic movements, etc.) and graphic tablets

· Perfect mastery of DTP software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.)

· Strong writing skills and perfect command of the French language

· Mastery of video editing software would be a plus

· Perfect knowledge of the print graphic chain and manufacturing techniques

· Ability to invent and create

· Knowledge of web-specific tools (social media, specific formats, web languages like HTML, PHP, CSS, AJAX, etc.)

· Intermediate level of English

· Project management and reporting capabilities
