Who this fits

You’ll suit this role if you can operate autonomously, close large institutional deals, and bring usable buyout relationships from your first day. The role is remote from London, Paris, Munich, Zurich, or Luxembourg, with travel across core European markets. You’ll report to the VP Sales and work across sales, marketing, onboarding, client success, operations, and product.

From the employer

Fundcraft is a digital fund operations platform for private markets, providing regulated AIFM services, core fund administration, and an LP investor portal to emerging, established, and institutional managers. As we gain large-cap client traction, we continue to scale into the private-equity buy-out segment and are hiring an Account Executive to own and grow this upmarket vertical.

This position can be remote based in London, Paris, Munich, Zurich, or at our Luxembourg office, and reports to our VP Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for institutional private-equity buy-out clients, from prospecting to close.
  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for this upmarket segment, in coordination with VP Sales, Marketing and leadership.
  • Generate and convert pipeline by leveraging an existing network of PE buy-out sponsors, LPs, advisors, and other ecosystem partners (law firms, auditors, distributors/placement agents).
  • Represent Fundcraft at industry events, conferences, and partner functions across core European markets.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage the deal process through to signed mandate.
  • Collaborate with Client Onboarding, Client Success Management, Operations and Product to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of won accounts.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast reporting in the CRM.
  • Act as a market feedback loop, relaying client and prospect insight to Sales, Marketing, and Product.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in enterprise/institutional sales within alternative assets, private markets, or fund services (fund administration, fund admin tech, custody, or related B2B financial services).
  • Proven track record closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals with institutional private-equity buy-out clients.
  • Established, active network across the PE buy-out client and partner ecosystem in London, Paris, Munich, Zurich, and/or Luxembourg, usable to generate pipeline from day one.
  • Deep understanding of the PE buy-out fund lifecycle and the operational/administrative needs of institutional GPs.
  • Consultative, solution-led sales approach; comfortable engaging C-level and senior finance stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. You love closing big deals.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages (French, German) an advantage for target markets.
  • Self-starter, comfortable operating with autonomy in a scale-up environment.
  • Willingness to travel across core European markets.

Benefits

  • Join a culture that celebrates creativity and welcomes innovative, disruptive ideas, empowering you to make a real impact.
  • Immerse yourself in a fast-paced, diverse workplace where you'll have the chance to collaborate and learn from specialists across various fields, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Embrace automation and seamless tech integration in your workflows, while our platform boosts operations through tech leverage, ensuring you stay ahead of the curve and updated with new technologies.
  • Work in a comfortable, ergonomic environment within our spacious, modern offices where you can enjoy daily fresh fruit and coffee!
