Be part of change

  • Research in the fields of channel coding, Internet of Things (IoT), and low latency communication
  • Development of new transmission schemes, protocols and cross-layer optimizations and support contributions to relevant standardization bodies for 6G
  • Implementation of prototypes involving simulations and machine learning techniques to optimize for latency, reliability, and energy efficiency

What you contribute

  • You are a student in Communications/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields at a German university
  • Basic knowledge of signal processing, communication and LTE/5G PHY/MAC layer procedures
  • A good understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Basic knowledge in programming, e.g. C++, Python, MATLAB, R
  • Creative thinking and interest for novel technologies
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Excellent spoken and written English

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
