This senior commercial role suits someone who has built partnerships and markets and can lead through influence across technical, underwriting and distribution teams. The stated annual pay range is $225,000 to $285,000, with possible participation in a discretionary annual incentive program.
From the employer
Chubb is launching a community resilience program for its premier residential markets. As SVP, Community Resilience Sales Leader, you will originate, structure, and close partnerships, backed by the resources, brand, and client relationships of one of the world's leading insurers. We are seeking a commercially driven, structurally creative, and organizationally agile leader — someone who thrives in ambiguity, closes complex deals, and builds markets that did not previously exist.
You will build and own Chubb's community resilience go-to-market program — working through and alongside existing Personal Risk Services (PRS) distribution, underwriting, and broker relationships to accelerate program adoption.
You will lead across four interconnected areas of accountability:
External Marketing, Partner Origination & Pipeline Development
Contribute to the development of Chubb's community resilience market narrative and competitive positioning.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of community partners — including residential developers, HOAs, real estate brokers, realtors, and local government agencies — with a focus on catastrophe-exposed markets.
Originate new community resilience partnerships by identifying, engaging, and advancing prospects through a structured commercial process.
Deepen broker and distribution relationships that serve community markets, embedding the community resilience program as a natural extension of existing PRS workflows.
Represent Chubb's community resilience capabilities at industry forums, developer summits, and partner events.
Deal Structuring & Commercial Innovation
Design community-level partnership frameworks that motivate genuine, sustained risk reduction behaviors.
Create and refine sales content, pitch materials, and partner-facing collateral tailored to each audience type.
Collaborate with underwriting to develop deal terms that are commercially sound.
Develop new deal archetypes that can be codified into scalable, repeatable go-to-market models.
Matrixed Stakeholder Leadership
Operate effectively across PRS field distribution, underwriting, engineering, and external partners
Serve as the commercial connector between the community resilience technical team and Chubb's existing distribution and underwriting infrastructure.
Build internal champions, align cross-functional priorities, and mobilize resources to support deal pursuit and close.
Navigate a complex, matrixed environment with clarity of purpose and a bias toward action.
Channel Enablement & Internal Capability Building
Create and refine sales content, pitch materials, and partner-facing collateral tailored to each audience type.
Train and enable PRS account managers, field consultants, and broker partners on the community resilience value proposition
Develop scalable, repeatable go-to-market tools and playbooks that extend the reach of the program beyond this role.
Capture market intelligence and feed insights back to the product, engineering, and underwriting teams to refine the program over time.
15+ years of experience in complex deal origination, business development, or distribution leadership in finance, insurance, real estate, risk consulting, or adjacent industries serving UHNW or premium markets.
Demonstrated track record of originating and closing multi-party commercial partnerships — not just managing existing accounts.
Experience structuring incentive-based commercial agreements, ideally where client behavior change is embedded in the deal construct.
Proven ability to operate and deliver results in matrixed organizations without direct authority over key resources.
Familiarity with catastrophic peril risk — wildfire, flood, wind/coastal — and how risk mitigation translates to insurance economics.
Experience working in or partnering within California, Florida, Texas, or New York markets in a climate-risk or NatCat-exposed context.
Strong pipeline management discipline; proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.
Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to lead a room of developers, government officials, or senior brokers with equal confidence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in luxury residential, master-planned community, or premium real estate sectors.
Background in or exposure to HOA governance structures, residential developer deal-making, or local government agency partnerships.
Formal background in resilience implementation, engineering, environmental science, or risk consulting — a genuine advantage, not a requirement.
Prior experience building a new market, practice, or go-to-market capability within a larger, established organization.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, planners, and underwriters — a rare commercial role with genuine technical depth and intellectual rigor behind it.
Chubb's global scale, trusted brand, and deep UHNW client relationships provide a launch platform no start-up or new entrant could match.
The role carries real commercial accountability — and equally real authority to innovate, structure new agreement types, and shape how the program grows.
There will be opportunity to grow your team, both matrixed from multi-disciplinary account and consulting teams, but also a team of direct reports to execute the responsibilities of this role.
The pay range for the role is $225,000 to $285,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
