Homestead Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Marketing Clerk at our Portage la Prairie Administration Office.
What you’ll do:
The Marketing Clerk plays a key support role in executing marketing activities that reflect Co-op values, engage the community, and support business growth. This position provides service to both internal departments and external members through effective communication and creative support.
Create and coordinate branded marketing and promotional materials across print, digital, in-store, and media channels, ensuring consistent Co-op brand standards and effective visual communication.
Manage website and social media content across multiple platforms, creating engaging posts, monitoring community interactions, and supporting member engagement initiatives.
Capture and edit photo/video content while contributing to digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, and broader marketing communications efforts.
Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, events, sponsorships, and community initiatives by managing timelines, logistics, promotions, and Co-op branded engagement activities.
Oversee marketing administration, community investment programs, campaign performance tracking, and marketing resources to support effective departmental operations and reporting.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail and:
Must have grade 12; a degree or diploma in Business with a focus in marketing or communications is an asset.
Have 1 year of experience in marketing and/or communications. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Have a minimum of 1 year of experience creating content for social media platforms such as: Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
Having a minimum of 1 year of experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, digital photography, and video editing is an asset.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license.
You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and the ability to problem solve.
You are highly motivated and detail oriented.
You possess strong interpersonal skills.
You have access to a personal vehicle and are able to work evenings and weekends as required for Co-op events.
