Everbridge is seeking a Renewal Specialist. As part of the Account Management team, the Renewal Specialist partners with Account Managers to manage renewals across our customer base. You’ll coordinate the renewal process from forecast through completion, helping customers renew smoothly and on time.

This role calls for someone who is organized, efficient, and comfortable working across teams and directly with customers. By improving renewal processes and handling renewal details, you’ll give Account Managers more time to support customers and help the team achieve its 95% retention goal.

What you'll do:

    • Forecast upcoming renewals and prepare and deliver renewal quotes. Support more complex growth quotes when needed.
    • Manage renewal timelines, documentation, and follow-ups to keep renewals on track.
    • Coordinate with Sales Operations, Order Processing, Billing, Finance, and Legal to resolve renewal requirements and meet customer requests.
    • Communicate directly with customers about renewals and account health, including closing renewal sales by phone.
    • Review contract terms and work with Finance and Legal to support compliant agreements and maintain contractual documentation.
    • Create and execute customer nurture campaigns in Totango.
    • Build and analyze reports on renewal rates and account usage in Salesforce and Totango.
    • Respond to renewal questions and escalations from customers and internal teams, including Support, Accounting, and Account Management.
    • Manage renewal opportunities, tracking, and forecasting in Salesforce, keeping notes and customer records accurate and up to date.
    • Work with Account Managers to maintain complete, current customer information in Salesforce.
    • Identify ways to improve the renewal process and increase efficiency.
    • Support other projects as assigned by management.

What you'll bring:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, account management, customer service, or a related field.
    • Experience leading discussions with customers or internal partners to clarify complex requirements and develop workable solutions.
    • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and produce polished, customer-ready materials.
    • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Confidence collaborating with stakeholders across teams and managing inquiries and escalations.
    • A solid understanding of sales processes and renewal timelines.
    • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, familiarity with quoting software, and track record of supporting customer retention or revenue growth within existing accounts.
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $60,000 - 65,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
