As a Business Development Representative for Brazil and the Southern-Cone, you will oversee the recruitment activities of an enrollment team, driving growth in enrollment numbers for our BBA program across the region. You will coach and mentor the team, set benchmarks and goals, and ensure processes are followed effectively to deliver an exceptional student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management and Development
- Work collaboratively with all team members, understanding their skills and adapting your approach accordingly.
- Keep the team engaged, motivated, and working efficiently toward targets.
- Coach and mentor on consultative selling, program value proposition, and USPs.
- Manage performance effectively through regular reviews and one-on-ones, fostering an open and honest environment.
- Identify strengths and development areas and provide a clear framework for growth.
Funnel Management and Analytics
- Maintain a strong analytical understanding of the student pipeline, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities.
- Use Salesforce to organize and prioritize student funnels, defining key focus areas and daily action lists for the team.
- Prepare and present weekly performance reports using Tableau and Salesforce, outlining plans for the weeks ahead.
Strategic Planning
- Develop annual and quarterly strategic plans for the region alongside the Regional Director.
- Use data and analytics to anticipate peaks and troughs in the cycle and allocate resources accordingly.
- Gather actionable insights on higher education trends, economic shifts, and financial variables influencing enrollment, and formulate strategies to address potential challenges.
Budget and Planning Management
- Manage scholarship and travel budgets to maximize resource allocation.
- Handle team requests including vacations, expenses, and other operational matters.
- Plan and propose activities for spend allocation to support business development and growth.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with peers across the region and globally, within Enrollment and across support functions including Admissions, Marketing, Visas, and Finance.
- Deliver structured feedback to cross-departmental teams to ensure an excellent student experience end to end.
- Work closely with the Regional Director to guide the strategic development of the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Proven track record in Business Development or a related role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passionate about people, their development, and working in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
