We’re looking for a highly driven, sports-obsessed Mobile Homepage and Video Producer to join our Digital Content team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Mobile Lead, you will help shape the daily video experience in the Kayo Mobile App, ensuring the most relevant, engaging and timely short-form content from across the business reaches fans at the right time.
This is a hands-on digital video production role with a strong focus on the Kayo app. You will curate and maintain the mobile homepage, publish and optimise short-form video, and help deliver a best-in-class mobile fan experience during key live sport windows. While the app is your primary focus, you will also support content output across other digital and social platforms as required.
This role is particularly important across morning, evening and weekend shifts, taking ownership of the app experience when the Mobile Lead is not on shift.

- Curate and maintain the Kayo Mobile App homepage, ensuring the most relevant, newsworthy and engaging video content is surfaced at all times.
- Publish, package and optimise short-form video for the Kayo app, including vertical video, highlights, near-live clips and other mobile-first formats.
- Work closely with the Mobile Lead and sport-specific Code Leads to identify priority content opportunities and deliver strong app coverage.
- Take ownership of the mobile app experience during key shift periods, particularly mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Write, edit, clip and publish high-quality video content to deadline, with close attention to headlines, thumbnails, metadata and categorisation.
- React quickly to breaking news, live sport moments and major storylines, ensuring the app reflects the biggest and best content in real time.
- Support wider video output across FOX SPORTS digital platforms, social channels and partner platforms as required.
- Identify trends, content opportunities and packaging approaches that improve mobile engagement and content discovery.
- Work with the Mobile Lead to improve publishing workflows, app-curation standards and speed to screen.
- Liaise with producers, Code Leads, editorial teams and social teams to ensure the strongest available content is surfaced in the Kayo mobile environment.
- Strong experience in digital video production, publishing and editing, ideally within sport, news or entertainment.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience using non-linear editing systems, ideally Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid.
- A strong understanding of digital publishing workflows and content management systems.
- Excellent editorial judgement and an understanding of what makes sports video content perform across mobile and digital platforms.
- Experience writing headlines, packaging content and applying metadata for digital audiences.
- A strong understanding of short-form and mobile-first content formats.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and international sport.
- The ability to work independently and make sound editorial decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience.
- A genuine passion for sport and strong understanding of the sports news cycle.
- Availability to work Monday to Sunday, including mornings, evenings and weekends..
- Experience creating vertical video and other social-first formats.
- Experience with mobile homepages, app publishing or digital curation.
- Experience supporting live sport coverage through near-live clipping and publishing.
- Camera operation or shoot setup experience.
