This role is a vital part in the organization and is what allows us to maintain strong relationships with our existing clients and bring on new clients in an area of strength. The Territory Account Manager is required to have a strong work ethic, and personal drive, and sets an example for the rest of the team. Description
The Territory Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining and strategically expanding the client base of Darkhorse Tech, an IT company specialized in the dental industry. The Territory Account Manager is responsible for: visiting existing and potential clients, identifying cultural “fit”, assessing their needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals. The field account manager works closely with the technical and sales teams to ensure high-quality service and project delivery. The ideal candidate for this position has excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of IT products and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports Directly to the VP of Sales
- Analyze client data to identify solutions (i.e. VOIP, Cloud, HIPAA, Software, etc.)
- Schedule and perform QBR
- Problem resolution when conflict exists between client and support or billing
- Prepare proposals for add/move/change work
- Enhance client relationships
- Build a network of referral sources
- Face to face drop ins on clients
- Review monthly reports to see escalated ticket volume and proactively engage to solution
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be based out of and work from Dallas, TX
- Ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to de-escalate customers when needed

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as traveling by car.
This is a hybrid role, and you will be spending approximately 75% of your time in the field.
