Customer Success Manager, Berlin
Who are we?
Have you ever wondered how a driver of an electric car finds a suitable charger and how all elements behind that experience work together smoothly?
That’s us! At Plugsurfing, we help make EV charging easier across Europe and beyond. We are an e-mobility scale-up with roots in Berlin, owned by Corpay, a global business payments company.
We handle the complexity behind EV charging so that businesses, fleets, charging station operators, and drivers can rely on charging that works. In doing so, we're helping make mobility simpler and supporting the transition away from fossil fuels..
Now, let´s talk about you…
We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team in Berlin.
As a Customer Success Manager, you will manage a portfolio of strategic B2B customers and be accountable for helping them succeed and grow with Plugsurfing.
You will build trusted relationships with your customers, understand their business and objectives, and proactively identify how Plugsurfing can create greater value for them. You will guide customers through successful onboardings and product adoption, identify risks before they become problems, and uncover opportunities to strengthen and grow our partnerships.
Ultimately, your role is to maximize both customer and business value: ensuring our customers are successful, satisfied, and engaged, while supporting retention and sustainable commercial growth across your portfolio.
You will also act as the voice of the customers within Plugsurfing, working closely with Product, Sales, Finance, and Service Delivery and other teams to turn customer insights into action, while balancing individual customer needs with what makes sense for our broader business and customer base.
Employee Success & our Berlin office
In addition to your Customer Success responsibilities, around 15% of your role will be dedicated to Employee Success and our Berlin office.
You will help make sure our Berlin office remains a welcoming, effective, and enjoyable place to work. This includes taking ownership of day-to-day office topics, coordinating with local suppliers and service providers, and helping create a great experience for colleagues working from or visiting the Berlin office. This gives you a unique opportunity to contribute not only to the success of our customers, but also to the experience and culture of our own team.
Because of this responsibility, regular presence in our Berlin office is an important part of the role, while still working within our flexible hybrid setup. You will also need sufficient German language skills to communicate confidently with local partners and service providers.

- Lead customer projects such as onboardings, success planning, Business Reviews, and governance meetings
- Drive product and service adoption, helping customers get more value from Plugsurfing over time
- Identify risks, customer challenges, and growth opportunities early, and take ownership of the right actions
- Use data and customer insights to understand account health, prioritize actions, and support decision-making
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, translating customer feedback into clear input
- Collaborate effectively across Product, Sales, Finance, Service Delivery and other teams while maintaining clear ownership of the overall customer relationship
- Help develop and scale our Customer Success processes, tools, and ways of working, including AI and automation where useful
Employee Success Ownership
- Take ownership of the day-to-day experience and smooth running of our Berlin office
- Coordinate with local service providers, suppliers, leasing companies, and internal stakeholders
- Support local activities and improvements that strengthen the Berlin office experience and Plugsurfing culture

- The ability to understand and lead conversations around complex technical setups in a fast-moving industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to prioritize effectively
- Strong ownership and accountability to follow topics through and move things forward, even when delivery depends on several teams
- The ability to balance individual customer needs with scalable solutions and broader business priorities
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to contribute beyond the boundaries of your core role when needed
- German language skills sufficient to manage conversations with local external providers
- Experience in EV or e-mobility is considered a plus
- Experience using AI, automation, or other modern tools to improve Customer Success or Account Management processes is considered a plusx
