- BLS within ninety days and Metro Communications Center training within one year
- Typing ability of forty to fifty words per minute is preferred

Shifts vary, with nights most likely and generally twelve-hour shifts; the schedule alternates between three shifts one week and four the next. You will work at Meacham Airport and must keep your primary residence in Texas while maintaining the licenses and credentials required for the position.

Individual will be the primary contact for requests to transfer and transport patients. Will coordinate and monitor transport by ground ambulance, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft and accurately document all related written and computerized information in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume, high-stress environment. Individual should be highly organized and have strong customer service, communication and computer skills, and have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Shift times vary but this will most likely be night shift.
Generally 12 hour shifts. 3 shifts one week then 4 shifts the second week.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- State certified EMT, EMT-P, or EMD certification with 1-2 years EMS and/or dispatch experience.
- Typing 40 - 50 wpm preferred
Certification/Licensure:
- Texas certified EMT, EMT-P, or certified EMD
- BLS (within 90 days of employment)
- Metro Communications Center Training (within 1 year of employment)
