Role Summary:
The Trade Marketing Specialist drives brand visibility and shopper engagement across assigned retail channels in the Dominican Republic. This role owns the end-to-end execution of retail shopper solutions and point-of-sale (POS) activation strategies. By optimizing the execution of the 5Ps and overseeing third-party agency performance, the specialist facilitates the shopper purchasing journey and accelerates category demand.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, development, and flawless in-store execution of Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials and shopper visibility solutions across designated retail environments.
  • Partner with Consumer Marketing, Customer Development Teams (CDTs), and Procurement to design, brief, quote, and produce high-impact, brand-aligned artwork and physical displays.
  • Manage third-party field agencies and merchandising teams, establishing clear execution guidelines, schedules, and quality assurance processes.
  • Oversee end-to-end POP logistics, including warehouse inventory accuracy through quarterly physical audits, delivery tracking, set-up, maintenance, and invoice authorizations.
  • Audit retail coverage through field visits and reporting tools to evaluate 5P execution, analyze market opportunities, and deliver actionable execution reports to commercial leadership. point.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of commercial experience in trade marketing, sales, or point-of-sale execution, ideally within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory tracking.
  • Valid Driver’s License with willingness to conduct field visits.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of retail merchandising, shopper psychology, and consumer marketing principles.
  • Financial proficiency in managing project budgets, estimates, and supplier purchase orders.
  • Cross-functional teamwork, third-party vendor management, and stakeholder negotiation capabilities.
  • Experience tracking retail execution Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as display coverage, field rep visit frequency, and execution compliance.
