Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Programs for GGP, the Marketing Assistant is an hourly employee responsible for supporting the efforts of the Marketing Programs and Marketing Property teams, including implementing aspects of end-to-end customer-facing marketing activations and campaigns designed to increase shopper awareness, engagement, mall traffic and sales based upon a deep understanding of our shopper segments.


Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing Programs and Property Marketing teams operations with day-to-day tasks to develop and execute activations and campaigns across multiple properties
  • Work with both internal and external resources to coordinate meetings, collect data, and communicate pertinent information
  • Manage and maintain the social publishing queue (Sprout), ensuring timely approvals while maintaining all brand and legal social media requirements
  • Author and deploy weekly marketing communications email
  • Own field-facing communications, trainings, and self-service resources, including ownership of operational signage projects and similar initiatives
  • Assist with marketing program and activation tasks, including (but not limited to) sweepstakes fulfillment, social media briefs, content creator organization, and competitive research
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to request, review and route creative assets for marketing activations and media
  • Organize cross-functional status meetings, including sourcing input from project leads and aggregating updates into a single source file (i.e., PowerPoint)
  • Publish web and social content as needed
  • Manage administrative tasks, including expense management, accruals, and invoice processing for the team
  • Support Marketing Programs team with budget management and monthly accruals for accounting
  • Other admin duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required
  • Organizational, project, and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to two years of marketing, communications, or events experience, including internships.
  • Experience with Sprout Social or a similar marketing or social media management platform preferred


Compensation

Salary type: Non-Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Hourly Pay Range: $24.00-$33.00

Annual Bonus Eligibility: 4%
