Opportunity to become a central member of the European Business Development and Tendering team, reporting to the Director.
Missions:
- Manage tenders under direction of line manager
- Meet the clients, present our tenders (travels required in Europe)
- Network with subcontractors / suppliers / potential clients in target countries – Centralising our knowledge and improving our ‘sensors’ across Europe.
- Understand procurement types and methodology throughout Europe
- Analyse the construction market within Europe
- Become an expert in ‘behavioural and co-operative tendering/procurement’ practices
Requirements
- Speak French fluently and operational English (required)
- From an engineering background (recommanded)
- Has a detailed understanding of tendering processes with experience in lump sum / alliance / target cost
- Has an understanding of preparing tender documentation and the management of that operation
- Experience with working with /managing consultants, partners and external parties
- Highly organised
- A good communicator
