As a Service & Visual Communication Designer Intern, you will contribute to improve how our services, processes, and information are experienced and communicated.
You will work at the intersection of service design, user experience, and visual communication, transforming identified needs and existing information into clear, intuitive, and visually consistent experiences, concepts, and communication materials.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting user research activities and collecting feedback from stakeholders;
- Creating user journeys, service blueprints, and visual representations of the current user experience;
- Identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement across services, processes, and interactions;
- Participating in ideation sessions, design thinking and workshops;
- Developing concepts and proposals to enhance services and digital experiences;
- Creating mockups, wireframes, and interface concepts;
- Transforming complex information into clear and visually appealing presentations;
- Developing templates, infographics, and other communication materials;
- Supporting the creation and editing of digital content, videos, and motion graphics;
- Contributing to visual consistency and enhancing the user experience across platforms and internal channels.
What makes you different:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the relevant fields or a related area;
- Strong interest in user-centered design and problem-solving;
- Ability to translate information and user needs into simple, intuitive visual solutions;
- Good understanding of visual composition, information hierarchy, typography, and storytelling;
- Curiosity and the ability to understand different user perspectives and needs;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to present and clearly explain design decisions;
- Good written and spoken English skills.
Will be valued:
- Portfolio showcasing academic and/or professional projects;
- Experience with user research, user journeys, or service blueprints;
- Knowledge of Design Thinking and Service Design methodologies;
- Experience with Figma or equivalent design tools;
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint;
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar tools;
- Experience in video production, motion graphics, or multimedia content creation;
- Interest in developing a Master's dissertation/ project;
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI design, prototyping, and information design.
