Who this fits

You’ll suit an experienced, hands-on generalist who can set direction and deliver work without a large team. The role rewards autonomy, commercial thinking, careful execution and comfort with technical products and construction markets. You’ll work onsite in Carrum Downs, Australia, on a part-time schedule of one to three days per week.

From the employer

Multipanel is an Australian manufacturer on a mission to change construction for good. Scaling nationally, this business holds itself to a high standard and the financial backbone of their operation is no exception. Accuracy, timeliness, and reliability in this role directly enables every other part of the business to operate with confidence.

The Role

This is not a fractional CMO or advisory position, and it is not a junior coordinator role. We need a capable

all-rounder who can decide where to focus, build the plan and personally execute the work that creates demand,

supports our channel and converts opportunities into sales.

You may spend one part of the day discussing growth strategy, budget, market priorities and new products with the

CEO and Leadership Team; later that day you might publish a LinkedIn post, build a campaign in Monday.com,

create collateral using AI, organise a trade show, follow up warm prospects or meet a reseller marketing team

What you will own

Marketing strategy and commercial planning

  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy and calendar, working closely with the CEO, Sales team and
  • Leadership Team.
  • Identify priority markets, customer segments and the channels most likely to deliver commercial return.
  • Set priorities and budgets; recommend where to invest, what to stop and how to improve results.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products, market opportunities and campaigns.
  • Measure marketing ROI, pipeline contribution and conversion, then turn successful activity into repeatable
  • systems.

CRM, campaigns and warm-lead conversion

  • Using Monday.com CRM, work with Sales to build a reliable marketing and sales engine.
  • Segment prospects and customers; create targeted email, digital, nurture and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Convert warm prospects, trade-show leads and dormant opportunities into qualified sales conversations.
  • Build practical workflows for lead capture, follow-up, source attribution and reporting.
  • Track what was spent, what opportunities were generated, what converted and what should be repeated.

Content, social media and brand

  • Own both the strategy and day-to-day execution of Multipanel's content and brand presence.
  • Create and publish social content, particularly LinkedIn, and develop case studies, email campaigns, presentations
  • and sales collateral.
  • Turn projects, customer outcomes, product innovation, technical education and industry activity into useful,
  • credible content.
  • Act as internal custodian of brand positioning, consistency, website content, photography, video and customer
  • communications.
  • Support product branding, packaging improvements and professionally executed new product launches.

Trade shows, events and external relationships

  • Treat events as measurable commercial investments, from planning through to post-event conversion.
  • Assess event fit and ROI; coordinate budgets, stand concepts, collateral, promotion, lead capture and Sales
  • alignment.
  • Run follow-up and nurture activity after events and measure resulting pipeline, revenue and learning.
  • Build productive relationships with industry associations, media, suppliers, strategic partners and specialist
  • providers.
  • Represent Multipanel professionally with customers, distribution partners and reseller marketing, category and
  • buying teams.

Requirements

  • You are an experienced marketing generalist - potentially from a corporate, agency, consulting or senior marketing background - who is attracted to genuine responsibility, autonomy and flexibility.
  • You are comfortable without a large team underneath you and enjoy moving between strategy and practical delivery.
  • Commercially minded, data-literate and genuinely interested in marketing's contribution to profitable growth.
  • Experience working for or with a building-products manufacturer, construction products or materials business.
  • Experience in trade, channel, B2B, distribution, specification or merchant marketing.
  • Understanding of the relationship between manufacturer, reseller and end customer: creating demand while helping the channel range, promote and sell the product.
  • A strong communicator and writer with sound visual judgement and confidence using CRM, digital marketing tools
  • and AI.
  • Proactive, resourceful and comfortable working directly with senior leadership, Sales and external partners.
  • Curious and willing to learn technical products, construction markets and the needs of different customer groups.
  • Industry and channel experience - highly desirable

Key Skills:

  • High accuracy and attention to detail - you find the error before anyone else does, and it bothers you until it's fixed.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • Confident communicator who builds effective relationships across a small team.
  • Practical, hands-on approach - comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing what needs doing.

Benefits

  • Part-time role, 1-3 days per week.
  • Full visibility and influence in a hands-on role supporting Marketing operations.
  • A high-accountability environment with clear expectations and measurable outcomes.
  • A genuinely values-driven team, no politics, no passengers.
