About The Role
- Lead global communications for the Global Business Unit (GBU) Pharma Solutions under Nutrition & Health (EN) segment.
- Shape Pharma Solutions reputation with relevant external stakeholders to enable and enhance business success globally, including crisis communication topics related to the GBU.
- Advise the GBU leadership on strategic external and internal communications, responsible for the implementation of agreed measures.
- Advise business colleagues on communication and online marketing measures and development of concepts based on marketing objectives.
- Implement result-oriented communication and online marketing strategies, activities and measures for Pharma Solutions globally, including monitoring, budget management and control of communication activities costs.
How Will You Do It
- Communication strategy development: based on marketing objectives and overall business units’ goals – Advising business units on the definition of communication objectives, groups and measures.
- End-to-end communication management: Control, monitoring and implementation of communication concepts, activities and tools, incl. selection and management of internal and external service providers, if needed.
- Digital market-communication: Planning, research, writing/media preparation of target group-oriented media products (external publications, e.g., digital and social media communication). Develop media opportunities in trade and business media. Expand and maintain network of journalists and drive proactive media relations to support business goals.
- Internal and change communications – Assists the GBU leadership in communication efforts within the GBU. Drives concept and preparation of, e.g., townhall sessions, coffee chats and video messages. Creates and implements effective employee communications strategies to drive employee engagement and change across Pharma Solutions globally.
- Crisis communications – Develops and implements crisis communication plans addressing key business & communication risks in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Prepare position papers, media responses as a part of issue management, and crisis communications in consultation with EN global and corporate communication
What We Look For
Education:
At least bachelor degree in communication, business or related field with multi-disciplinary and international orientation
Work Experience:
- At least 8 years working experience in public relations, project management, or marketing communication, preferably both in agency and in-house
- Experience working in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry or FMCGs
- Digital marketing and communications experience
- Experienced working in an international and multicultural environment, incl. matrix organizations
- Experience in steering PR and media agencies
Technical & Proffessional Knowledge:
- Successful track record of collaborating in an international team, strong skills in virtual collaboration and connecting with co-workers over different geographies and time zones
- Experience in community building
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing data to gain insights on customer behaviour as well as developing, implementing and tracking engagement/outcomes of multi-channel communications programs.
- Strong creative and conceptual abilities (planning, analytical, creative, client and goal oriented)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Sound project and event management skills (ability to set guidelines and deadlines, manage budgets)
