Purpose & Impact:
Athene is seeking a relationship-oriented and analytical sales professional to help grow our Structured Settlements business. You’ll partner with Sales, Pricing and other teams to strengthen agent relationships, identify opportunities and deliver solutions that support profitable growth.This is an opportunity to build expertise in a growing area of Athene while working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where new ideas, initiative and continuous learning are valued. Key Deliverables:
- Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and execute territory plans that generate opportunities, strengthen agent relationships and support structured settlement sales growth.
- Proactively engage assigned agents through calls, targeted email outreach and timely lead follow-up to build relationships, increase awareness and identify sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Pricing and Sales partners to prepare accurate, competitive proposals that address client needs and support profitable growth.
- Partner with Legal, Operations, Marketing and other teams to deliver timely, accurate agent communications and execute engagement activities such as webinars, virtual meetings and targeted campaigns.
- Analyze agent, territory and campaign information to identify opportunities, prioritize outreach and recommend actions that improve sales results.
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools appropriately to organize and analyze information, personalize agent engagement, improve efficiency and create more capacity for high-value relationship building.
What You Need to Bring:
- 4+ years of financial services sales experience, including prospecting, relationship development and driving sales results, or relevant experience, preferred.
- Annuity product sales experience strongly preferred, with the ability to understand and communicate product, service and regulatory information effectively; structured settlement experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and engage customers through proactive outreach.
- Life license required; if not currently licensed, must obtain the required license within six months. Completion of industry continuing education such as LIMRA/LOMA or progress toward an advanced designation such as CLU, RICP or ChFC is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability and bias for action, including the ability to navigate ambiguity, learn quickly and use technology and AI responsibly to improve sales effectiveness; Excel proficiency preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
