The Role
We’re seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join our team on a contract basis (up to 40 hours/week). This is a great opportunity to play a hands-on role in supporting a high-impact service organization, with the potential to transition into a full-time position as business need grows.
This role focuses on the tactical execution of paid media campaigns and whitelisting/allowlisting. You will work closely with internal teams to implement campaign structures, manage day-to-day optimizations, and ensure the successful delivery of paid influencer assets across a growing pipeline of accounts.
The ideal candidate is highly technical in social media ads platforms (Meta, TikTok, Youtube), comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once across industries, and proficient at turning creator content into actionable ads. This person should be able to execute precise campaign setups, monitor performance metrics diligently, and support the broader team in scaling influencer content across paid channels.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Launch and manage paid influencer campaigns end-to-end in Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Ads Managers, including campaign structure, targeting, and creative deployment.
- Monitor and optimize performance by refining audience targeting, budget allocation, and campaign structure based on instustry best practices.
- Track budget pacing against flight schedules to ensure full delivery.
- Own the whitelisting/allowlisting process: request Partnership Ad and TikTok Spark Ad codes from creators, track authorization status, and resolve rejected or expired permissions to ensure timely launch.
- Recommend creative formats, hooks, and placements (e.g., Reels, Stories, Partnership Ads, Spark Ads) based on platform best practices and campaign goals.
- Analyze performance data (with focus on lower funnel KPIs such as Revenue, ROAS, and Purchases) and turn it into clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Build client-facing proposals and materials that explain our paid media campaign strategy, including budgets, targeting, and flight schedules.
- Partner with Strategy, Client Services, and account teams to implement campaign requirements, configure tracking, and align paid efforts with organic content calendars.
- Run Paid Partnership Ads programs from start to finish. That includes sourcing, negotiating with, and contracting creators, and owning client communication on content recommendations and briefs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong execution capabilities in paid social, with the ability to implement and manage ad campaigns that drive measurable performance.
- Strong communication skills across client facing teams, internal teams, and creators.
- Hands-on experience with Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Ads Managers (specifically whitelisting and conversion-focused campaigns).
- Agency background in paid media (influencer or creator marketing agency experience is a strong plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to context-switch across multiple accounts.
- Familiarity with social commerce (such as TikTok Shop) is a bonus
- Familiarity with pixel & CAPI set up and integration is a bonus
