About The Position

The Multimedia Manager brings the stories of Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) and its diverse portfolio of supported organizations spanning health care, arts, education, and philanthropy to life through video, photography, motion graphics, and digital media while also stewarding the systems and workflows that keep creative assets organized, accessible, and aligned across teams.

The role is focused primarily on health care initiatives including Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Heartland Whole Health Institute, and a future Bentonville health care campus, while also contributing to multimedia production efforts across the Crystal Bridges Campus for Art and Wellness.

Success in this role requires both creative and strategic thinking. The Multimedia Manager is a hands-on storyteller who can conceptualize, produce, and deliver polished multimedia assets that align with organizational missions and brand standards, while working closely with teams across the ecosystem of supported organizations to translate complex initiatives into compelling visual narratives. Strong creative execution, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple production deliverables and provide multimedia expertise and guidance within established brand guidelines, timelines, and workflows are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality multimedia assets including videos, motion and still graphics, photography, and digital design for use across digital, social, and marketing platforms.
  • Edit and produce short- and long-form video content with a strong narrative focus, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and visual consistency.
  • Create branded motion graphics, lower thirds, intro/outro packages, and on-screen text overlays aligned with visual identities.
  • Capture, edit, and organize photography and videography for digital and print use, including events, programs, and brochures.
  • Design and prepare creative assets for marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Create visually engaging content optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Provide creative recommendations and contribute ideas based on current trends and best practices related to social video, campaign storytelling, and visual tone.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with organizational brand style guides, visual standards, and quality expectations.
  • Apply performance analytics and engagement data to inform content refinements and creative improvements.
  • Organize, archive, and maintain creative files and source assets using Orange Logic, the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Support and guide consistent, clear workflows for the DAM across supported organizations, focused on long-term best practices.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and coordinate multimedia priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Serve as a multimedia subject matter expert and advise partners on multimedia production approaches, technical requirements, and creative solutions.
  • Coordinate external multimedia vendors and production resources, as needed, to support project requirements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested to meet departmental and organizational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Photography, Filmmaking, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • 5–7+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in multimedia production, video production, digital design, multimedia storytelling, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated body of professional work in multimedia production, video, photography, and/or digital design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with demonstrated proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and/or InDesign.
  • Experience using Canva or similar design tools to support quick-turn creative needs.
  • Demonstrated skills in videography and photography, including lighting, composition, and audio capture.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to deliver production-ready digital assets across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Ability to deliver photography and video assets within short turnaround times, including same-day delivery when needed.
  • Understanding of social media content strategy and digital storytelling best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate, while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

This role requires working in an open setting near colleagues. The noise level is typically low to moderate but may vary depending on the production or event environment. The role also requires interaction with both the public and internal team members in a professional and courteous manner. Some travel will be required and a flexible schedule may be necessary to accommodate business needs, including occasional evening and weekend work hours.
