Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Value Lab & Kyprolis

Amgen has launched the Lifecycle Value Lab (LVL), newly formed Lifecycle Value Lab (LVL), a purpose-built U.S. business unit designed to accelerate growth through agile experimentation, modern technologies, and innovative ways of working. LVL serves as an incubator for next-generation go-to-market approaches – testing and scaling strategies that can shape the future of commercialization across Amgen’s broader portfolio.

The Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Value Lab & Kyprolis/Aimovig will be a key member of the LVL marketing team and will be responsible for two key areas: 1) Providing project management support for commercial innovation LVL experiments and 2) leading and executing HCP marketing programs for Kyprolis and Aimovig.

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director: Aimovig, Kyprolis & LVL Experimentation within Lifecycle Value Lab.

Key Responsibilities

Experimentation and Lifecycle Value Creation

  • Provide project management support to facilitate advancement of LVL experiments (this includes supporting the portfolio of experiments as well as individual experiment teams, typically there could be 6-8 teams at any given time).
  • Analyze experiment results and marketing performance to identify insights, share learnings, and recommend opportunities for optimization or scaling. 
  • Work under direction of LVL SPO or other LVL Senior Managers on assessing external commercial vendors regarding new capabilities or technologies
  • Work with ED, LVL SPO and others to optimize current channels, processes and brand management opportunities
  • Work with ED to continue to refine the overall Experiment project management process

Kyprolis Brand Marketing and Promotional Execution

  • Develop and execute assigned marketing tactics for Kyprolis, across relevant channels, including websites, email, search, media, digital programs, and other omnichannel tactics.
  • Lead development and execution of SFMC editorial calendar; includes developing creative assets, getting them MAC approved, launching them into market, measuring results
  • Own budget for Kyprolis team, ensuring timely and accurate execution marketing budget
  • Be the point of contact for Kyprolis Brand Team for congress/conferences

Aimovig Brand Marketing

  • Aimovig Omnichannel orchestration & measurement, including but not limited to patient support channel execution

All of the above work will require partnering with appropriate cross functional team members; leading agency and vendor partners; being proficient in Amgen MAC approval

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare
  • Experience with HCP, patient, consumer, or field-facing marketing tactics, including websites, email, media, sales materials, peer-to-peer programs, and digital engagement.
  • Experience developing KPI dashboards, measurement plans, or performance readouts.
  • Experience leading projects through material review processes; experience with complex or new-to-organization submissions is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, agencies, vendors, and budgets.
  • Experience effectively partnering with and managing external agencies, media partners, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly matrixed, fast-changing, and ambiguous environment.
  • Collaborative teammate with the ability to motivate, influence, and align cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience presenting marketing strategies, tactical plans, or performance results to leadership and large groups.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in strategy and execution.
  • Experience with experimentation, test-and-learn approaches, agile ways of working, lifecycle management, or innovation frameworks.
  • Passion for serving patients and advancing Amgen’s mission.
