As our Social, Content & Communications Manager, you are the voice of Armstrong. You own our organic social presence, our copywriting, our content, and the day-to-day deployment of our public relations, all woven around a single, consistent brand narrative. This is a shared role that powers both Acquisition and Retention: the words on our pages and in our inboxes, the stories we tell in the community, and the way we show up everywhere customers meet us.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Brand Voice: Own a single, consistent brand narrative and make sure everything Armstrong says, in social, copy, content, and communications, sounds unmistakably like us: local, trustworthy, and human.
- Own Organic Social: Own our organic presence on LinkedIn, X, and Facebook, manage day-to-day engagement, and explore new platforms where our communities are.
- Write the Words That Sell and Reassure: Own copywriting across the funnel, including web-page copy, email, landing pages, and campaign assets for both Acquisition and Retention.
- Create Content That Earns Attention: Develop content that supports our marketing goals, including the SEO content that helps acquisition show up in search and AI answer engines.
- Deploy PR: Help bring the Director’s PR strategy to life, supporting media relations, announcements, and Armstrong’s public reputation.
- Tell the Community Story: Weave Armstrong’s community involvement and local roots into how we show up publicly.
- Support Both Pods: Partner with the Acquisition and Retention managers to give every campaign the right words, content, and social amplification.
- Keep It On-Brand Everywhere: Maintain Armstrong’s voice and messaging guidelines and bring partners and agencies along.
