We are looking for a communication specialist who likes to write, shape stories, and turn complex topics into clear, engaging content.

You will be part of the Communications team for the Global Division Transportation and Places, with specific responsibility within the business segment Transportation. Your role will report to Senior Communication Business Partner for Transportation.

We are an ambitious team built on trust, openness, and shared knowledge. And because the pace can be high, it helps we can be honest, keep perspective and laugh along the way.

The role combines content creation with campaigns, digital channels, and positioning. You create content with a 360° mindset, turning communication priorities into stories and assets that can be used across channels and formats. You do not need to be a marketing automation specialist or a positioning strategist, but you should be curious about how marketing, messaging and content can help AFRY reach the right audience.

You will learn about business to understand priorities, client needs, and commercial context, and translate this into communication that is relevant, useful, and aligned with business goals.

Typical tasks will include:

  • Content creation and PR storytelling: Develop clear, on-brand content, thought leadership and PR-ready stories aligned with segment messaging and campaign priorities.

  • Campaign execution: Produce targeted content for key account and focus area needs, and support selected offerings, campaigns and priority areas by helping shape messages, proof points and content assets in collaboration with the business, marketing, creative and corporate teams.

For this role, the most important qualities are that you:

  • Strong English skills; additional European languages are an advantage
  • 1-4 years’ experience with content production, editorial work, social media, campaigns and digital marketing.
  • You are curious about digital channels, SEO, marketing automation, and how good content and clear positioning can support business development.

  • You have good visual judgement and can work with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or similar.
  • You take initiative to clarify input, challenge unclear messages, and improve the result.

You do not need to tick every box. But you need to write well, understand when content is not clear enough, and be willing to learn the parts of the role you have not worked with before.

This role is based in Czech Republic or Germany, supporting our European markets remotely, so you need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own tasks day to day. At the same time, you will be part of a close international communications team where we stay connected, share input, and support each other.
