As Cluster Assistant Director of Sales for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, you will play a key role in driving the commercial performance of both properties, with a strong focus on the leisure segment across key international and regional markets.
Working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales and wider Commercial team, you will lead strategic account development, identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with luxury travel partners, tour operators, DMCs and key accounts. You will support the overall sales strategy across both hotels, ensuring each property’s distinct positioning is represented while maximising revenue, market share and long-term commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Revenue Performance
Drive leisure revenue across Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, focusing on high-value travellers, luxury leisure, families and leisure groups.
Identify new business opportunities, source markets and strategic partnerships to grow production and maximise revenue across both properties.
Support achievement of cluster sales targets, budgets and commercial objectives.
Sales Strategy & Planning
Support the Cluster Director of Sales in developing and executing the overall sales strategy for both hotels.
Translate commercial priorities into clear sales actions, account plans and market-specific initiatives.
Develop targeted strategies for key leisure segments and source markets while maintaining the individual positioning of Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai.
Key Account & Partner Management
Develop and manage relationships with key travel agencies, tour operators, luxury travel advisors, DMCs and strategic leisure partners.
Strengthen existing accounts while proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Conduct regular account reviews, sales calls, presentations, contracting discussions and partner engagement activities.
Sales Leadership
Support the day-to-day direction and development of the Cluster Sales team, ensuring clear priorities and strong execution against commercial objectives.
Guide the team on account development, prospecting and conversion opportunities.
Support a collaborative, performance-driven sales culture across both properties.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, emerging source markets and evolving luxury travel behaviours.
Identify commercial gaps and opportunities and translate market insights into actionable sales initiatives.
Represent both hotels at relevant trade shows, sales missions, networking events and partner engagements.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Monitor account production, revenue contribution, sales activity and market performance.
Provide regular commercial updates and insights, highlighting opportunities, risks and recommended actions.
Use performance data to refine account strategies and support informed commercial decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Brand and Operations to ensure an aligned commercial approach across both hotels.
Collaborate on campaigns, packages, partnerships and promotional opportunities that drive demand and strengthen market positioning.
Ensure a seamless approach from business development and contracting through to the guest experience.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience within luxury hospitality, with experience in a senior sales role and demonstrated readiness to take on broader commercial responsibility.
Strong experience within the luxury leisure segment, ideally across luxury hotels or resorts.
Proven track record of developing key accounts, generating new business and delivering against revenue and sales targets.
Strong understanding of key international and regional leisure source markets, luxury travel trends, customer behaviour and distribution channels.
Established experience working with luxury travel advisors, tour operators, DMCs, travel agencies and other key leisure partners.
Previous experience within a cluster or multi-property environment would be an advantage.

Collaboration: Ability to work closely with Revenue, Marketing, Brand, Operations and hotel leadership to deliver shared commercial objectives across both properties.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Relevant professional qualifications in sales, hospitality or commercial management would be an advantage.
Technical Proficiency
Strong working knowledge of CRM and hotel sales systems, including account management, pipeline tracking and sales activity reporting.
Comfortable working with commercial reports, account production, forecasting and performance data to support decision-making.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
