Role Overview
The Associate, Marketing will support the execution of Modern Animal’s lifecycle and retention strategies across CRM, review platforms, and broader retention initiatives. This role is responsible for bringing strategy to life, owning day-to-day execution across email/SMS, review management, member experience initiatives, and reporting. This is an ideal role for someone highly detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within lifecycle marketing and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle & CRM Execution
- Execute email, SMS, and push campaigns across the member lifecycle (onboarding, engagement, retention)
- Build and QA campaigns within CRM platforms
- Support journey optimization through testing and iteration
Reviews & Reputation Management
- Support strategy and execution of Google and Yelp review programs
- Monitor review trends and assist in surfacing insights to inform clinic-level improvements
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely responses and escalation tracking
Member Experience Reporting
- Assist in building and maintaining monthly reporting (NPS, app ratings, third-party reviews, churn drivers)
- Identify trends and flag outliers across clinics and regions while proposing strategies to tackle the issues they uncover
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Operations, Technology, and Care teams to support member experience initiatives
- Assist with ad hoc marketing strategy projects as business needs evolve
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, CRM, lifecycle, or customer experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Comfort working with data; able to pull insights and spot trends
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, HubSpot) is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
The pay range for this position is listed below; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
