About this Role:

PetDesk is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to help lead and scale our growing events program. Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, this role will own the planning, execution, and optimization for all of PetDesk’s events: tradeshows, experiential marketing activations, veterinary association events, and virtual experiences.

This is a highly visible role focused on delivering exceptional event experiences while ensuring our investments drive measurable business impact. Whether you're an experienced event marketer ready to own a large-scale program or a rising professional looking to grow your career, we're looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, and passionate about creating high-quality events from strategy through execution.

  • Own PetDesk's event marketing strategy and execution across tradeshows, conferences, veterinary association events, and virtual events, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and pipeline targets

  • Develop and manage the annual events roadmap, identifying, evaluating, and recommending new event opportunities that drive measurable business impact

  • Drive event-sourced pipeline generation by partnering with Sales and Marketing leadership to establish goals, optimize event performance, and improve conversion throughout the event lifecycle

  • Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor management, registrations, travel coordination, booth activations, promotional campaigns, and on-site event management

  • Build and execute integrated pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement strategies designed to maximize attendee engagement, meeting generation, lead capture, and opportunity creation

  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations to ensure accurate event attribution, lead routing, campaign tracking, reporting, and measurement of event-driven business outcomes

  • Analyze event performance and deliver actionable insights on event-sourced pipeline, opportunity creation, ROI, and overall business impact to inform future investment decisions

  • Manage event budgets and vendor relationships, ensuring financial accountability, operational excellence, and strong returns on investment

  • Serve as the on-site leader at events, proactively solving problems, navigating unexpected challenges with professionalism and poise, and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Design while building scalable processes and playbooks that support the continued growth of PetDesk's events program

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation within B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or a related industry

  • Demonstrated success owning events that generate measurable pipeline, opportunities, and revenue impact

  • Proven ability to navigate unexpected challenges, make decisions under pressure, and maintain a calm, professional presence in high-visibility situations

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing Operations, and executive stakeholders

  • Comfortable traveling up to 30-40% of the year to support event execution 

  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, event technologies, and reporting tools
