Who this fits

Clear, fast writing, comfort with Reddit and developer communities, and strong organization matter here. The job is fully in person at the Palo Alto headquarters or San Francisco office.

From the employer

About us

Parallel is a web infrastructure company. Our products are used by leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with flexible and powerful programmatic access to the web.

We've raised $230 million from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain to build the web for AIs. We're currently valued at $2 billion and we're forming a world-class team of engineers, designers, marketers, sellers, researchers, and operational experts to achieve our mission.

Job: You will run Parallel's day-to-day marketing execution. You'll work with customers to produce written and video testimonials, turning happy users into case studies that sales can put in front of prospects. You'll set up and keep a regular newsletter cadence covering launch recaps and other marketing collateral, and publish the monthly "what we launched" roundup via Slackbot. You'll coordinate event and hackathon logistics with partners — venues, schedules, promotion, follow-up — and post launch content to the PWS subreddit and other developer communities where our users live. You'll work closely with the founding team and product marketing, and you'll ship something most weeks.

You: You've spent a year or two in marketing, ideally somewhere small, and you got real things out the door - a newsletter people opened, an event that ran on time, a customer story that got used. You write clearly and quickly, and you're comfortable on Reddit: you know how developer communities talk and what earns upvotes versus eye-rolls. You're organized enough to juggle a video shoot, an event checklist, and a launch post in the same week without dropping any of them. You don't wait for a detailed brief - you ask good questions, take a first pass, and improve it fast. You want to grow by owning more, not by watching.
*note - you have 1-2 years of experience, not just internships.
