The Associate, Biddable role is a great place to kick-start your career in the ever-changing world of digital advertising. This role at Canvas Worldwide will offer you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Social, Search, and Programmatic via first-hand experience advertising in partnership with a leading gaming company. In this role you will learn media strategy, develop best practices for campaign setup, management, and reporting.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and be exposed to the entire lifecycle of media campaigns. As an Associate, you will begin to develop a working knowledge of the media space inclusive of platform, audience and media buying strategy. You will also be at the intersection of cross-channel collaboration and work closely with the creative agency to traffic creative and share out performance learnings.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of social, search, and programmatic media campaigns from planning through reporting.
- Collaborate with strategy, analytics, ad operations, and activation teams to develop audience recommendations, campaign approaches, and optimization strategies based on client objectives.
- Collaborate with Creative agency for creative handoff, creative builds, optimizations, and reporting
- Build, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns within Demand Side Platforms, Social, and Search platforms, including audience creation, budget management, bulk edits, troubleshooting, and pacing oversight.
- Analyze campaign performance and reporting to identify insights and provide recommendations related to audience, platform, placement, bidding, and creative strategy.
- Conduct quality assurance across campaign setup, tagging, tracking, and launch readiness to ensure accurate implementation and performance measurement.
- Manage campaign deliverables, maintain status documents, communicate project updates, and proactively flag timeline risks or challenges.
- Assist in the development of client-facing materials including media plans, performance reports, optimization recommendations, tests-and-learns, and campaign wrap-ups.
- Support post-campaign reconciliation, billing processes, and campaign documentation.
- Conduct audience, competitive, and marketplace research to identify opportunities and inform planning recommendations.
- Coordinate with platform and vendor partners to stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and emerging opportunities.
- Participate in team brainstorms and planning discussions to contribute strategic ideas and innovation opportunities.
- Continuously develop expertise in biddable platforms, workflows, trafficking processes, reporting tools, and campaign management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Advertising, Marketing or similar
- Be proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growing
- Be outgoing: Lots of communication with internal teams and outside vendors required
- Be organized: able to work with dept head to prioritize projects across campaigns while also clearly communicating progress and project completion
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow through
- Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel
- Ability to be flexible and a team member
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Paid Search, Paid Social, or Programmatic is a plus, but not required.
Salary and Benefits Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
