- Ease working in a scrappy, shifting environment rather than a large corporate team
- Ability to mine sales, ratings and customer feedback to guide brand calls
Who this fits
This suits a hands-on brand builder who is comfortable with ambiguity and has actually launched brands from scratch. You need a strong point of view and the confidence to defend it. Note the role is fully onsite in the Los Angeles office, five days a week.
From the employer
Who we are
Lab37 Robotics, is a technology company focused on the development and deployment of robots designed specifically for direct-to-customer food production. Our mission is to revolutionize the food industry by creating innovative robotic solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
What you’ll do
You're the person who answers: what brands should we be building, for whom, and why? You combine market research, consumer insight, and competitive analysis to identify brand opportunities — then translate those opportunities into clear, actionable briefs that the culinary and design team can execute against. You're the connective tissue between business strategy and creative output.
You're the person who answers: what test brands should we be building, for whom, and why? You combine market research, consumer insight, and competitive analysis to identify brand concepts worth prototyping on our robotic platform — then translate those concepts into clear, actionable briefs that the culinary and design team can execute against in R&D. You're the connective tissue between our robotics roadmap and the creative output that brings each test brand to life.

- Write menu copy — translate the brand's culinary vision into consumer-facing language
- Own menu structure, pricing, and PMIX modeling as brands move toward launch
- Coordinate digital onboarding into KitchenOS & POS; own the deployment checklist
- Drive launch and growth in the first 60 days — run proven playbook tactics while actively testing new ones
- Track brand performance; own the feedback loop back into strategy
What we are looking for
- 3+ years in brand strategy, marketing, or consumer insights — ideally in food and restaurant

- Comfort with ambiguity: you're building brands in a fast-moving, scrappy environment — not a corporate brand team
- Experience taking a brand from zero to launch (not just managing an existing brand)
- Data-literate: you can pull insights from sales, ratings, and customer feedback to inform brand decisions
- Strong point of view on what makes a brand resonate — and the confidence to defend it
