WHO YOU ARE

We are seeking a talented and imaginative Brand Motion Graphics Designer to become a valuable part of our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in motion design with hands-on experience across modern design applications and production methods. They should be a technically minded individual who can adopt new applications easily and has a basic understanding of coding and scripting. This role requires a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to bring ideas to life through motion graphics and video editing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and create engaging motion graphics for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to promotional videos, event stage graphics, social media content, product demonstrations, and visual effects.

  • Streamline the production process by developing, utilizing, and maintaining Premiere templates (MOGRTs) that reduce turnaround times and ensure visual cohesion across all collaborative projects.

  • Manage day-to-day production of motion assets within established timelines and brand guidelines.

  • Partner with Video Editors to weave motion design into live-action footage, ensuring that graphics and effects complement the narrative and enhance the overall quality of the edit.

  • Utilize Adobe applications to edit and assemble compelling assets that align with the project's objectives and target audience.

  • Integrate generative AI workflows to accelerate conceptual exploration and automate technical tasks, allowing for faster iteration without sacrificing brand integrity.

  • Support motion projects with sound design, layering music, sound effects, and voiceovers with guidance from senior creatives.

  • Assist in exploring new motion formats (e.g., web experiences, data visualizations) alongside senior team members.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D or Blender) to create 3D graphics and animations.

  • Collaborate with others on the Brand & Creative team to develop strong visual narratives that effectively communicate key messages and emotions.

  • Perform color grading and finishing to ensure visual assets are polished and consistent with brand standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to consistently improve and innovate motion graphics, video editing, and sound editing practices.

  • Contribute to and help maintain a library of graphic elements, templates, and project files to streamline workflow and optimize collaboration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and ensure motion assets align with project objectives and brand standards.

  • Seek and incorporate feedback from senior designers and creative leads to continuously improve quality of output.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE

  • Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, and visual rhythm to create polished motion work.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere. Familiarity with file optimization and render management best practices.

  • Ability to incorporate video and audio elements into animation projects, enhancing the overall audio-visual experience.

  • Strong visual storytelling abilities, with the skill to translate creative briefs into storyboards and style frames with direction from senior creatives.

  • Technically oriented and forward-thinking mindset with a curiosity and willingness to explore AI-assisted tools to optimize workflows.

  • Strong communication skills. You can clearly present your work and incorporate feedback constructively.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • 2-4 years in motion graphics design, video editing, and sound editing, with a diverse portfolio showcasing your capabilities and versatility.

  • Proficiency in Adobe applications and an expert of Adobe After Effects and Premiere, with a strong understanding of their functionalities and integration for seamless workflows.

  • Proficient in creating 3D graphics and animations using software like Cinema 4D, or Blender.
