Wood Mackenzie has an exciting opportunity for a senior specialist to join a fast-paced, dynamic global business as part of our digital marketing team focused on driving audience growth, engagement and supporting in driving demand and lead generation across key digital channels.
This role reports to our Digital Marketing Director and forms part of a Global team that has responsibility for covering SEO, social media, digital user journeys and paid media. This role seeks to support the delivery of key BAU activities as well as providing campaign and project support.
Role Purpose
As a key role in our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting our global marketing team in the development, implementation, tracking, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across various digital channels. You will work closely with broader digital marketing team, the Digital Director as well as a range of marketers spanning content, campaigns, ABM and events to ensure campaigns and digital tactics are delivered on time.
Whilst this role will support global teams, the role holder will also support on effective utilisation of APAC specific channels and platforms working with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role
The individual in this role will use their breadth of digital marketing knowledge and skills to:
Deliver brand awareness and lead generation campaigns as required
Support the digital and programme marketing teams with planning and delivering digital elements of their campaigns across all digital channels
Support with WeChat organic social management
Support campaign activation on Baidu, Yahoo Japan and other APAC channels as needed
Deliver our monthly digital channel, campaign and content reports
Supporting with keyword research and on-page optimisations for SEO
Ongoing competitor research across digital channels
Conduct regular industry research to stay current on digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and share findings with the team.
Adhoc support for social media initiatives working with the social team.
Support with monthly budget tracking and reporting
Support with the development and optimisation of website campaign pages including support on A/B testing and reporting working with web and analytics

About You and How You Can Excel in this Role
To be successful in this role youβll be a self-starting digital marketing professional, preferably with experience across a range of digital channels. Youβll be able to develop engaging and effective campaigns to attract and engage new potential customers. For this position, itβs also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and emerging trends. It will be beneficial (but not essential) if you have some knowledge of the natural resources, energy & commodity markets.
You will have:
Experience in a digital marketing role ideally in a global B2B environment
Ideally with broad digital experience such as
Digital marketing campaign management and campaign execution
Social media tools such as WeChat, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube
Experience in WeChat organic social and paid campaigns
Google Analytics experience (GA4 exposure preferred but not essential)
Paid Search (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Baidu, Yahoo Japan, Google Ads)
Basic SEO understanding
Understanding of A/B testing and analysing results
CMS and Marketing automation, for example Salesforce and Pardot
Experience of working with external suppliers and agencies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively & drive innovation
Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
Project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills in English
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and engage peers
The ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions/optimise campaigns
Highly evolved communication skills and an ability to translate technical information into business language
Excellent communicator and digital thinker
